TAICHUNG, TAIWAN (TraNews) – Chinese herbal tea, also known as medicinal herbal tea, is a kind of tea soup purely made from Chinese medicinal herbs popular in Hong Kong, Macau, and even Guangdong region. It is not hard to find these stores that specialize in Chinese herbal tea. There are many kinds of cooling tea drinks available on the market, and some of which have been sold bottled or canned.

Located at the intersection of Temple Street and Ningpo Street in the vicinity of MTR Jordan Station, One-eyed Man’s Cooling Tea (Chun He Tang) has enjoyed great popularity for more than half a century. Many visitors to Temple Street would grab a bowl of cooling tea. It generally tastes bitter or lightly sweet, depending on what kinds of Chinese herbs are used. For those who cannot stand the bitter taste can try five-taste tea or chrysanthemum tea.

    How to get there:
MTR Jordan Station Exit A and take Nathan Road. Turn left into Nanking Road and turn right into Temple Street.
